5/9/2017 12:50pm I will just say, the speeds at which this track is raced make it a lot more wild than one might judge. With that is mind, it isn't exactly Val di Sole. The breakfast at the Ft Bill cafe is one of the better meals going on the circuit though, and I appreciate that a lot.

5/9/2017 8:38am I'm stoked to see the new section. Looks like that might be a sweet gap after the deer gate to the new! Also, looking back at RAW from Lourdes, specifically the gully section, the Syndicate dudes look so composed in the chatter after the huck...I think that's a good tell of how much damping the 29 provides. Good to see...

This pretty much said it all. Also, fun fact: Mick Hannah tried to play the rain game in Qualies - perhaps too well, landing in 78th...unfortunately he crashed so we don't have a good barometer for that tactic in the current iteration of UCI rules.

Vaults continue to bel the best thing going for large-brand options. The T-Macs are a killer option too. Burtec are still the boutique benchmark. Flat for life, clips are for kooks.

Don't misunderstand why Loic doesn't like the 29'er. Yes faster is faster, but he is coming from the standpoint of "why go faster"? If it is an advantage now, but then everyone adopts the wheel size, it just means that everyone would then just be going even faster - which is hard to fathom. To see the speed in person, and see the unfortunate moments when things go wrong at that speed...Loic's view point is reasonable. And he's not the only one. The hype of the big wheel is hype, and there will be some more to come other than...
