That's what I thought. Changing the trek Facebook to the "A" logo looks to me like they are trying to launch as a brand with their own bike / re badged intense.

Athertons to there own bike brand... been developing bikes for other teams for years now, built a great brand, Gee,Dan and Rach making their own bikes.... it could be the change they are looking for. full control of what they want to ride.

I've mentioned before, its possible his other sponsors have stepped in to fill the gap if intense can't afford him. He may see Intense as his best option given the time it takes them to manufacture and test race-able test bikes. I doubt Gwin cares about if a bike is a finished carbon product if its not helping him win races. If he can have multiple prototypes built to his specs in his back yard, he'll take it over waiting and getting more $$$$. Its not like YT had a bunch of cash at him anyway.

looks like ag is fix at intense with neko. trk will go in the season with charlie harisson, reece willson and kate edwards. dean lucas to scott? aethertons to yt?

In terms of John and Charlie power washing.... could this point to ‘a clean slate’ fresh start. Gwin to Intense... Jeff is always pushing the limits of design, welding up prototypes quicker than most folk... which racer wouldn’t want to ride for a company like that. YT got there 29” out a lot later, and the 29” dominated this season.
