I think the problem in your case is that you like/want to have a high end bike. So I think the answer, in your case, is no, it will not be satisfying because you will feel the need to upgrade to better parts like you said on your last sentence. Performance wise I think an entry level DH bike of today would suit just fine since the geometry is one of the most important aspects and it tends to remain constant across the different specs (entry level to high spec) and is one of the things that really progressed when...

11/16/2017 11:29am So the inserts work well, but are too heavy. What if the tires incorporate the foam to the walls (less material) and also design a most clever way to instal a tubeless... the rim tape, the hole and the valve looks as a temporal solution.

This was almost really cool. That effect is super lame. I want to see Richie ride and maybe learn a thing or two. This is an editor making his mark in the worst way possible. HINT: When you have one of the best riders in the world less=more.

4/4/2016 10:36am Maybe the main difference is the way you ride the same DH trail on an enduro bike. On a lighter bike, that is more agile... you don't smash the bike against everything full speed... its a safer way to ride the same course?
