I think the problem in your case is that you like/want to have a high end bike. So I think the answer, in your case, is no, it will not be satisfying because you will feel the need to upgrade to better parts like you said on your last sentence. Maybe the main difference is the way you ride the same DH trail on an enduro bike. On a lighter bike, that is more agile... you don't smash the bike against everything full speed... its a safer way to ride the same course?
