The issue is the fork/bumper impacting the headtube during a crash, where the fork is abruptly jarred into the frame. A perfect example is the 2012–2014 Trek Session 9.9, which was notorious for cracking at the headtube where the integrated fork bumpers mount. In a crash, the force from the fork turning into the headtube would cause the frame to crack. I experienced this with my own Session and knew about five other riders locally who had the exact same issue.

I am 5'7", my Nomad is a medium. To be short, this is the best bike I have ever ridden haha. I have worked in the industry for over 10 years and my preferred type of riding is bike parks, and shuttle trails. Rode this bike on a ton of multi-day bike park trips last year, and it didn't skip a beat.

Damn, that looks sharp. Which ride wrap kit is this? Matte or gloss? I’m working on a similar build.

I think you mean 9-46 on the cassette range. E.13 has always had a 9t cog for their cassettes. I don't recall them ever making an HG cassette with an 11t.

Haha haven't logged into my account since this was posted! Didn't actually build the bike to match believe it or not! the evo even has Ohlins coil overs as well haha

Just a local auto shop that specializes in custom work. They do vehicles for shows like SEMA and so on.
