Bruni's body position is also text book, which allows the suspension to work at its best. Over used cliché but he really is 'one with the bike'. Oh and he won in 2015 on Boxxers FYI ;-)

There has been a strong downhill race scene in the UK since the early 90's. This is where the likes of Peaty, Warner, and even Minnaar etc all cut their teeth before stepping up world cups. There are some pretty serious tracks in the UK and even without huge elevation, they were always super technical. Guys like Brendan and Josh were racing downhill from a young age. He's a small dude. My guess is he would struggle weighting the wheels on a long bike. The 29er provides more front grip and allows him to ride off the back and go shorter on the wheelbase. This setup is perfect for his lively riding style.

7/11/2019 11:30pm big applause to the photogs and mostly the riders that f-ed around doing this, at a WORLD CUP! Seems like the fun is back for a while now, keep it up world cuppers, this fun aspect of the PINNACLE of DH racing will get more kids involved and aspire to be world cup downhillers-in addition to the seriousness of training and work ethic you all put in, BRAVO!

Man I was there in '04. It was emotional, there were so many Brits there watching, on the roof of the telecabine, everywhere. Peaty was king, he still is! What a ledge!

The bars look rad, but what if you like your bars rolled forwards or backwards? Tons of adjustability in the frame, then you can't tweak the cockpit. But hey if the glove fits, these should be amazing.

In an interview with AG right before finals that aired on the live-feed he mentioned that the rider in front of him stopped short during his practice run which ended up causing the crash. Maybe the rider is out of the shot, but on his helmet cam it just looks like he just flat out shoulder-checks that tree. You can tell that one hurt for sure
