I appreciate your opinion, but you’re wrong. This bike is WAY more efficient/fun to pedal than a Stumpjumper. Most of my rides start on asphalt and never get gnarly enough to warrant a bigger bike. People see a 36 and reservoir shock and shit their pants. I prefer a stiffer fork and geometry preservation the Neo allows. I would way rather ride a beefed XC/trail bike than a weight-weenie all mountain bike

I’m 165 geared up, the 550 is what’s recommended by Cascade, but I found it to be a little too much. I’ve since gone down to a 500 and it’s much better
