I'm all for e-bikes if the rider has some sort of injury, disability, or any other legitimate reason that makes the e-bike his or her only option to get out there and rip some trails. But all I see on my local trails (which are closed to e-bikes) are completely healthy and young looking riders on e-bikes who are just too lazy to pedal uphill under their own power. And more often than not their trail etiquette is completely lacking... full Jerry mode.

Conti just released new mtn line with updated/tweaked tread patterns and newly redesigned Protection casing. All of the tubeless seating and seepage issues have been resolved they claim.

It was a bummer to see those chips in my frame after two rides. I ordered the touch-up paint off of Ibis's website and touched it up before putting the new adhesive protector on that spot. Ibis has touch up paint for every frame color they offer on their site.

Gotta get extra wrap on the chainstay... I have the same chips in mine from chain slap, the OE chain protector doesn't extend out far enough.

Save sales? How much were they selling in Canada before the move to MEC and direct? Every shop in Canada I was ever in, Intense was back up while everyone pushed Santa Cruz up for effectively the same bike/price while OGC provided them terrible distribution service. They refused to sell my small shop one frame because we wouldn't order five. I've worked in shops in Canada for 14 years and I've seen this all over. Now they've opened themselves up and are selling more bikes and you're mad? You saying they don't pull much weight in Canada anymore is BS...

The best trick for seating a stubborn bead is to set up the tire with a tube at max pressure. Leave the tube in for about 30 mins then take it out and try to set up tubeless. It's called training the bead and works pretty much every time. One factor to consider is if the tape is too thick or wide, it can sometimes create issues with seating the beads into the rim because the tape crowds the area of the rim's bead hook channel.
