If you want more info on what Lapierre appear to be using check out http://www.aim-sportline.com/eng/products-bike/evo4/index.htm Seems to be an automotive/motorcycle race telemetry system adapted for bikes. I hope http://picorico.io can bring the price and accessibility of telemetry technology to more people for bike specific applications. We still have a lot more work to do but look for a bunch of updates from us shortly.

3/11/2015 7:54am I know not a "big gun" but Commencal has yet to go carbon. I would assume they have big plans for later this season having home field advantage for World Champs. Will they be bold enough to try carbon or stick with the proven aluminum frame with minor tweaks?

2/13/2015 12:29pm I would not be surprised if some of the vendors were pushing the UCI to enforce this. It seems that teams have moved from homogenous frames and components to run whatever you want under a parent team brand. Not defending this shitty enforcement at all. Just stating there are likely financial motivations to UCI's decision. The new style probably bothers...

12/10/2014 1:36pm The bike is certainly durable. I know this cause I still race one =) . The chain guide mount was the first to go though. That chainguide was horrible and very loud. Never thought to grind the cable housings off by the knees. Looking at two deep holes in each of my knee pads it is probably a good thing to do.

11/28/2014 6:54am No disrespect to the current riders on their teams but it seems like the big bike cos Giant,Trek?,Specialized? are dumping top talent this year to "downsize" their teams. In return the smaller teams have picked up some top talent. Insider knowledge that their smaller budgets will be able to achieve more this year without the big companies in the picture...

True. The trick will be how many points though? I vaguely recall the first Plattekill ProGRT awarding UCI points and it was like only 1 or 2 points for first place in Elite. Any way to see how many points C2 UCI races award?

That sounds great but "It means less travel for our riders, which provides more opportunity for American international success" makes me scratch my head based on the coast to coast flip flopping of the proposed 2015 schedule.
