Take note, bike manufacturers - this is what a press release is supposed to look like. Roskopp comes off like a cool and down-to-earth bike brand/team owner, and I'm sure that's the case in reality too. It's like working at a good company where no one is out to get someone. just ride, work, and everything will fall into place.

All this says much about Gwin the person, as much as Whiteley's failed attempt with Minnaar says about Minnaar. Whiteley this time, got suckered punched out of a gentleman's agreement. But at the end of it all, Gwin had the last say. AaroGwint indeed. Hotdamn, I hope Sam finds his mojo again.

Its very interesting that the MTB market has become so mainstream that any new idea or innovation is immediately scoffed by the mean populace who obviously either don't bother to read or do any further research on their own to determine wether an idea is viable or not. People, you are using and being sold 100 yr old technologies that have changed very little other than the materials used to produce them, Welcome new iterations and innovations as they will make the riding experience better. Mechanical tires, inboard self contained gearboxes, chain alternatives are all going to let you spend...

Nice feature. Very interesting guy. I once made brief contact with Tom at Moab Utah in spring 2005 on the Porc Rim trail near the top. He was busting down through the rocks on a minimal travel XC HT with that signature minimal helmet (or no helmet) and the uber narrow bar width. He appeared god like as he danced through the rocks. Someone special for sure..

Nope, you can go faster, with more traction and control, over rougher terrain with the larger diameter wheels. Until you have ridden them you cannot understand. They will revolutionize the sport. (with or without you cling-ons!) ;-)

You can try to ignore it LK, but its only a matter of time (like less than two years) that bigger wheels will be in DH solidly. It just makes too much sense for many reasons.....;-)

So the problem that not having it rest directly on the skeletal structure introduces is additional movement (soft pads compressing) of the device vertically when under load negating the rigid structure needed to protect the neck in a compression. no? (and this one is directly on the collarbones, looks comfortable, but will it protect?)
