General Info
Back with proto V2 — this time running a concentric pivot.
We're really happy with the V1 geometry, so we kept it as the baseline: 475 mm reach (size L), 641 mm stack, 345 mm BB height, 440 mm rear center, 78.9° seat tube angle, 63.5° head angle, 120 mm headtube.
The kinematic curves stay in the same spirit as V1, with slightly less anti-rise due to the new pivot layout. Anti-squat and anti-rise both stay close to 100%, with a shallow slope through the travel — same goal as before: predictable behavior from top to bottom of the stroke.
On the trail, the bike works just as well climbing as descending. It's a genuine flying carpet — one magazine writer put it well: you see the roots, but you don't feel them. We also reworked the rear triangle for a bit more stiffness in hard bike-park-style corners, while keeping enough compliance to stay stable through chatter and roots.
The concentric pivot is adjustable via spacers: this lets you change the rear center from 440 to 460 mm without touching belt length, and also adjust bottom bracket height by varying spacer thickness. At 440 mm rear center, travel is 170 mm with the air shock (21% progression) or 175 mm with a coil shock (26% progression); moving to 460 mm bumps travel up to 182 mm.
Testing continues, more soon.
