Whoever says, "Yeah, but air is lighter..." doesn't get it. Coil just works better (more consistently as Curtis said) and is more reliable. This is wicked. How about a 27.5 non-plus guys?

Hi, I'm 1,96m and I think my bike size is quite good. When I bought it, XL size didn't exist. When you compare its reach and stack, my L Phoenix is as tall as a XL V10 or a XL Demo 8. I never tried a XL Phoenix but it must be really tall !

Krispy is correct. There are no aluminum cogs on the X01 DH cassette.

I believe they were referring to the previous XX1/XO cassettes. if you look at PB's view of the cassette it looks like the steel cogs are attached to the alloy backplate/spoke protector. Otherwise there would be 2 pieces of alloy on the cass.

Due to the 42t cog which offers so much engagement of the chain, the XX1 drivetrains are wearing well in my area. This DH group does not use an alloy cog however, it is the spoke protector instead.
