7/25/2022 12:17pm Cheers bro. Yep got a 27.5 rear wheel too, good for steeps but 29 is better for flatter trails. 27.5 is especially with my short legs to prevent ass bumps.

6/29/2015 2:02pm Thanks for the input guys, I'm consolidating 2 bikes into 1 really. I current have a camber evo 29er which I love and just sold my Orange Alpine 160. Thinking the 29er stumpy could be the 1 bike to do it all only other bike on my radar is the Trek Remedy 29er. I do love how flickable the smaller wheels feel in tight trails. Ah so confusing!

6/7/2015 12:46pm How come Curtis chooses the 650b version, I am literally ready to buy one of the expert level Stumpy 2016 and am torn between wheel size.

What is going on with Fabien Barels rear shock? In the slow motion you can see he has some sort of cover over it? Prototype? Data logger? Anyone?

6/7/2013 7:13am Agreed and the rear wheel to it's left appears to be the larger size too. No graphics on either? 650B or 29er?

Incredible concept, but surely the chain rings still wear out and would be pretty expensive to replace? Also looks like mud would clog it up in no time. And the pins that support the ring would be under incredible load during pedaling maybe fail point. Proprietary cranks, bb etc expensive and surely lots heavier than a 200 gram front mech? Still kudos for thinking outside the box and coming up with an impressive solution.
