My guess is Keene ran flats because they gave him what he thought was his best chance for winning. If placing 22 on flats is impressive, then there is absolutely no clip vs flat debate.

Cool perspective, but remember that since the bikes weren't all in the same front/rear cog combo, comparing chain growth, etc. is pointless.

1/16/2016 5:12am Gwin knows how to ride bikes for sure, but someone in his camp should teach him to strike while the iron is hot. Three or four weeks ago when news that his relationship with Specialized had ended I was very curious as to what he'd be riding in 2016. Now I just don't care.

In the second paragraph it says I can expect to see Commencal at the Fontana series this winter and possibly at my LBS next spring while on their demo tour? I wonder how many LBS's are going to actually allow a consumer direct mail-order bike brand to post up in their parking lot with a demo truck? Not too many I suspect... edit: However, I do agree with schwaaa31 and others that there is indeed a market for this type of sales strategy.
