Thanks, i have a few more frames to build up too. The number should be on the bb shell but it can be difficult to see as it looks like they were marked by hand not by machine. I actually recognised the frame colour and saddle it made me think of your Blur 4X on mtb-news. Great collection!

I'm almost certain this was my old team M9 frame based on two personal touches I made. The drilled hole on the side gusset plate on the downtube below the shock . I did this to zip the shifter housing and rear brake hose tight against the frame. Then 3M masking tape applied on weld bead junction of the chainstays and yoke. Lastly, the covering on the split clamp of the upper angle set on the top of the head tube. We did this on our team frames to reduce the amount of water and dirt migrating into the headtube...

Yes, you’re correct, they used those with these in the original spec. You know your specs! 👏🏻 They also had the Tioga proto saddles on these originally, but they were crap and didn’t last at all so he used this Nukeproof instead

These have 8” in the back and that normal XVert Ti has 6” on it. On the original team bikes they had the team only XVerts with the special extended lowers that had 7”. There were though only 12 made I believe.

Actually I put this on a fish scale and it showed 18.3kg so about 40 lbs, was way lighter than I first thought!
