Or - as I used to say in my racing days - you have to either be fast, or look fast, because nobody can tell on the fotos. I was however more the latter. Smile

I had one of these back in the day, I picked it up in my shop rat days. These were good times, where niche bike shops were still specialized dealers. When this released, this bike was sorta the sleeper as it had largely the same geo and similar kinematic to the top of the range enduro, at half the price. The version I ended up with came with the original pike in coil suspension flavor, which was a great fork at the time. I digress... echo what others have said. Bleed the brakes, do an air can service on the...

Apparently there's a mtb world cup race this weekend - EDR Morillion namely - and this site doesn't even bother to at least post results (day 1 results to be exact), but more shocking are the entry numbers: about 120 elite men, 30 women, 23 male junior and 4 female juniors. Whoever said Enduro racing was alive and well...

I read quickly over your analysis and am wondering if all that OEM-product, that is possibly sitting in warehouses is already paid for? I don't know how the industry works but is it possible that big bike manufacturers are owing fox and other component companies money for product that isn't sold (yet)?

Very interesting observations. I'm not into finance and all I can say is, as Austrian and observer of our news landscape, KTM's bankruptcy surely has been on the front of a lot of publications and the hows and whys have been widely (and wildly) debated. Ebikes never came up in all the debates and speculations. More the private wealth of...

The issue is the judging doesn't make sense year on year, but then again maybe thats because Rampage itself doesn't seem to know what it is anymore - lets face it the actual event day is a spectacle, a hype fest, and more of a made for TV event than one thats scheduled to actually allow the riders to thrown down the best runs. For me the actual concept of a freeride competition doesn't sit right - freeride is ultimately about fun, expression, and pushing the limits, all of which mean differnet things to differnet people. Ultimately its a human...

Any Update on Clemens Kaudela? Ok, just dug this out, according to himself: " I have dislocated my hip on the left leg, nothing broken here and its back in place. I do also have 4 comperssion fractures in diferent vertebrae. The good news here is, they are very small and need no surgery at all."

I'm with the comments, if only a photographer or two could go around the pits doing 30s interviews, then they could play them over their photos in some kind of slideshow. If they have nice photos but no audio, then just play the same muzak track for about 15 years. I can't believe no one has tried this before.

I honestly think that the point has come when Loic should go and race the Electronic Bike Racing category - on his own. If you can't beat your competitors without a device that's solely and exklusively available to you - what's the point in competing? If a manufacturer creates something that's open to use for multiple of their sponsored athletes to be proven on the racetrack - that's progressing the sport. Anything else is an unfair advantage - a.k.a. known as cheating. Just sayin, ....

Literally any rider on the circuit want´s more events. And as soon as they go somewhere new (surprise, that happens when you want more) people start complaining that it´s not like what they are used to. Guess what - that what´s it about. I remember BF complainig about Leogang that it´s such a tame track and Atwill riding down with...
