You guys nailed the suspension kinematics on this bike!! Show us a video of it working! Also, huge ups for going the gearbox route, we need more of that.

Yes, a lower percentage means less force acting on the rear shock, but if you take the weight transfer during braking into account, which is the most significant and important part of mountain bike kinematics, a number closer to 100% actually maintains the suspension feel and geometry so that you retain traction on the rear tire and a planted feel on the bike instead of transferring everything onto the front wheel. The only time having lower anti-rise is beneficial is when you are braking on flat or uphill rough terrain. Hence the reason for keeping the anti-rise on "active" bikes...

"fully active" means different things to different people right now... the two extremes of anti rise are too low and too high. Too low is around 60% and below (depends on assumed COG height so it varies) where the suspension effectively extends relative to the frame under braking. great for traction as the rear wheel is grabbing for traction when u brake, but sometimes it can feel like the rear end is rising too much and feels like its going to throw you over the bars = not ideal. Too high is 130%+ where the rear suspension squats under braking...

Cheers buddy. Probably the most surreal thing I've ever done. It was pretty wild sitting at the top waiting for it to go off with a bunch of craters around me from some of the bigger explosions. I was really hoping it wasn't going to be one of those.

This goes unnoticed by Dylan as he is swept away by life's responsibilities such as school and work. But Dylan’s monster is in a constant struggle to return to its host, much like a virus. This rider is in a race to close the gap between itself and Dylan. In the Shadows is the first part of the story as the monster and Dylan work...
