6/28/2024 10:36am Any word on when the High Roller 3 is going to show up? It looks like the deep dust & baked hardpack tire I could use right about now.

DirtyHal Liked a reply to forum topic What happened to neck braces in DH?
5/27/2024 7:20am To dig this up, suffered a crash in my sight lap last weekend before the actual dh race that day. Ended up in the hospital Sunday night and ultimately got a surgery first thing Monday to fuse my c4,5,6. The spinal ortho surgeons at Harborview were adamant that the leatt brace did not make my injury worse and likely prevented it from being worse. It is expected I will make a full recovery minus the 10% loss in flexibility in my neck due to the fuse. I’ll be pushing these things on my friends for the rest of my life...

5/6/2024 3:07pm That's nuts if Fox can sue for that. Bleeders have been around in moto for years. I don't know who did it on mtb forks first, but it wasn't Fox; my ~2014 X-Fusion RV1 had them.

djjohnrodriguez Added a comment about press release The H&R Bike Performance Spring | Setting New Standards in Durability, Performance and Weight
4/18/2024 5:47am Is there a sample guarantee on deviation from listed spring force? IE, SAR springs guarantees +-1.5% and their distributor sends you a dyno of the actual spring you buy which is miles better than anyone else.

4/15/2024 5:56am You should also be able to get more linear compression behavior on the DHX without the preload from a HSC adjuster.

4/12/2024 6:16am Stoked to see a hard compound 29" DH casing DHR2 in 2.5". 100% that will be my next rear tire purchase for my one-size-fits-most Enduro/trail/XC/DH bike

4/11/2024 2:51pm Huh ? Fox forks are actually pretty exemplary as far as backwards compatibility of dampers go. I have a what is now a 3 generations old RC2 damper in a '23 36 chassis for example.

I have a love/hate relationship with the pilot zone. The bike advocate in me loves the fact that there's more legal singletrack, the rider in me hates that we lost some really good trails. Also - there's been more ticketing since the pilot zone started than there ever was before it.

The funny thing is that's the most tame (ie closest thing to a green trail) in the park.

3/21/2024 11:23am It looks like it's using their Ride4 chip at the forward shock mount, and is also using reach adjust headset cup/chips.

1/8/2024 9:32am I own two mid-high pivot bikes currently, a Norco Shore setup as a DH bike and a Rocky Mountain Instinct/Altitude Powerplay as my ebike. My am/enduro meat bike is a non-high-pivot Rocky Mountain Altitude. The main benefit of a high/mid-high pivot in my opinion is that the rear end gets hung up less in rock gardens. The downsides are axle...

12/30/2023 8:47am Ride 4/9 and the adjustable chainstays are the whole reason I ride their bikes. Being able to dial in the geometry and progression level to what suits you best is mint in my opinion.
