They're definitely on the louder side, but you can 'tune' the noise with oil or grease. HERE is a pretty helpful video from I9 showing the differences in sound between Torch and Hydra, and oil vs. grease.

I’m on my 3rd set of I9 system wheels. I own V2 and V3 Enduro 305, and these new EN300, all on hydra hubs. I’ve ridden over 2,000 miles on V2, while riding at Snowshoe bike park and lots more east coast jank. Replaced rear bearings once so far, which was incredibly easy to do. Just had rear wheel trued last week due to some loose(ish) spokes. Wheel is still perfectly round. V3 is on my hardtail and those wheels are approaching 2k miles as well. Zero service so far. So yea, not sure what all the reliability concerns I...

Yess, dry or a little oil and you’ll have a pretty loud hub, a lot of oil or light grease and they’ll become a subtle buzzy hub

Mostly onboard except for big ass riding glasses! The bigger the better, in fact make them so big they work with my full face please! (Especially as I need corrective lenses) What's in for 2024 and forever: 1) Vital raw, copied by every other outlet, but the original is still head a shoulders above the rest. 2)Vital b team podcast so long as you get Dak to continue

God, the Bluetooth speaker Chads are something else. Can't decide if I hate them more than Ebbers poaching trail or NIMBYs sabotaging trail. All of them are selfish twats ruining a nice ride.

For sure. Bought the frame and wheels. Everything else came off of another bike that I plan to rebuild. Actually bought the 10-50T because it would work with the NX derailleur I had on hand.
