I'm unconvinced. I've unboxed many bikes from many large manufacturers, and I've never found one that can be properly built up & adjusted in ten minutes. Derailleur hangers are rarely straight; cable tension usually needs to be dialed in; brakes often need alignment, piston resets, or even bleeds; rotors are often out of true; hubs are frequently tighter than ideal; headsets aren't adjusted well... etc. I've seen all of these on bikes from old-school dealer-sales manufacturers; I've seen the same problems on bikes from direct-to-consumer companies. Maybe Canyon has perfected their build procedures so that none of these are issues...

5/11/2018 6:22pm I've tried pretty much everything but to be honest don't really consider weight when choosing what i run - tread pattern, compound, width and profile make far more of a difference. In the wet i run double dhr II as they dig in nicely but still roll well and clear mud much better than a dhf, In the dry or mid i run High Roller II's front and rear, love these when you get lent over, best side knob in the game. Dhf works great in a little dust and hard pack but don't brake particularly well and are quite...

5/11/2018 6:20pm Nice Build! Can you comment on the tires? I am on 2.5 DHFs F&R - love the grip but would not mind losing some weight ;-)

7/19/2017 4:18am As good as air forks have gotten, the 2011 Van coil Kashima fork I had has been by far the smoothest and plushest fork I've owned.

12/3/2016 7:41pm The float x with the medium volume space it came with was too linear for me, I needed a larger spacer but not by much, with usual coil shocks I'd say its too linear of a platform but with the elevensix the rear end is better than I'd ever imagined. mid travel support is perfect with the right amount of low and high speed compression and I haven't had one noticeable bottom out with the weight specific bump rubbers push spec their shocks with. The more I lean back and let the shock do the work the smoother the trails get...
