You can't really get better brakes than Formula R1's but they will cost you an arm and a leg. I have always used Avids and at the moment I've got a pair of elixir CR's which I haven't had the chance to test properly yet but they look sweet

My advice would be if you go for avids go for...

So it is fine for a bmx'er to wear skinny jeans but not a mountain biker? I don't think anyone is wearing tight jeans because they have to, some people just prefer tighter jeans. So you wear the typ of jeans that you like and the people who want to wear skinny jeans do that. And stop complaining!

I train for the summer, do alot of photography, ski, upgrade my bikes and ride my bmx in the winter. Hahaha 18*c in the winter, that is like an average summers day up here. maybe I should just move to australia.

I would recommend the kona bass, I used to have a kona cowan DS a few years back which I used for slopestyle, dirt jumping and also alot of street/park riding. You can run gears or single speed, The frames are really light, my build was around 14kg and built purely for strength not low weight. Hope this was usefull...

I use elinchrom skyports which works just as well as pocket wizards but at a much better price. I know some other photographers who had skyports but changed to pocket wizards and later wished they didn't as it was not worth all the extra money.
