That sucks. I really liked their Bible reviews and interesting opinion pieces. Since Turman is leaving, maybe Vital can swoop in and get some good talent

Hey, remember 9 posts ago in this thread when we were bummed that Bike Magazine was going out of business? Or the part where we were grateful for decades of great MTB content from so many amazing contributors, editors, photographers, and writers? That was cool.

Now all it needs is a single speed belt drive. And to hollow out that seat tube support like Mr. Chris Makin said.

I'm was running Vee Flow Snap+ (2.6" and a proper 2.6" at that!) front and back on my hard-tail. Still have some of my best times on that setup. Currently on DHF and Spesh Slaughter in the rear for winter fun drift :D
Oh that's a tough call... 2 years ago it was having my mind blown by dropper posts. On my most recent bike it'd be the forks (thanks to some folk here for the advice) Damn you Spomer, I was toying with the idea of some WeAreOne rims with those hubs - such a tease!

Times may be a little tougher ahead, and the dreams of a new bike may be dashed requiring us to keep our existing bikes running longer and stronger. Whether you have a baller build or a budget build, what's one component upgrade that has changed the way your bike performs? My tires are sorted, my suspension is dialed and recently, I've been lucky enough to get some fast-engaging rear hubs (Race Face Vault on Turbine SL wheels for a 29er and Onyx Racing silent hubs laced to FSA Gradient hoops on a 27.5. For the generally pedally terrain here...

At the risk of this devolving into another Graves/Rude doping thread, here's a bit of info straight from the source. Easy to miss as it was given in the PB comment section rather then an official statement, but I imagine that may be forthcoming with further announcements of his plan. More here: https://www.pinkbike.com/u/jaredgraves/ '[i]Ok,I'll try and clear a few things up, NO BS, just facts, hope it can help. The supplemnet in question in this case is BPM labs "the one" which if you want to look it up. Now states Higenamine in the ingredients list, but in older versions...

@thejake "I would avoid swapping the components off your Chameleon unless everything can be switched over. Seems like every time I’ve done that I end up with a handful of random parts I can’t sell and the money I spend on the replacement parts doesn’t justify the cost." ^^ So much this, it NEVER works out like that for me...

I haven’t rode either bike but people seem to be loving the new Norco Optic and Specialized Stumpjumper Evo. Both bikes are shorter travel, supposedly climb well and have aggressive geometry which I’m sure you would appreciate coming from a moto background. I would avoid swapping the components off your Chameleon unless everything can be switched over. Seems like every time I’ve done that I end up with a handful of random parts I can’t sell and the money I spend on the replacement parts doesn’t justify the cost.
