Additional Info | It's the perfect bike for leisurely pedals to the corner store when I need to pick up toilet paper for my family. Additionally: I went with the Rev grips, 31.8mm Spank Vibrocore bars, 2.6 front tire and 200mm rotors to help deal with a chronic wrist problem. So far, so good. I wrapped this Jimmy with Invisiframe. It was relaxing. Also, fuck yeah! PS. Thanks to Evil, SRAM, Rockshox, Push, Spank & Maxxis for making the coolest shit ever. |

Gorgeous! I built up an Offering with Fox suspension and love it. What’s your review on the AXS?

Okay, I’m 5 rides in and I can say it’s super crisp & precise. It’s a little weird to not get that tactile click from the controller but man is it fast. I realized I could push the controller from the lever side to upshift, sort of like the outboard shimano paddle, which is super convenient. I’m still playing with the controller position on the bars but so far I’m liking the system a lot.

Super interesting! I've been debating whether or not to move to AXS.
Re: positioning, in the video where Curtis Keene is walking through the new Enduro, he talks about positioning and how was advised by someone at SRAM to skip the matchmaker and mount the controller on the left side of the brake. But of course, his hands are likely a different size than yours.

What travel length did you go with on the fork?

160mm. Can’t believe I didn’t put that in the description...

Thanks for the response. I have an older 140mm pike on my Offering that came off another bike. I want to get a new fork soon, can't decide if I'll stick with 140 or go to 150. And if I go to 150 I can't decide between the Pike Ultimate or Lyrik Ultimate. Any reason you went with a Pike over the Lyrik?

I went with the travel recommendation of some friends with Offerings. I’ve had Pikes and Lyrics in the past and didn’t really notice a huge difference, so I went with the lighter option, since I’ve been doing more pedaling over the last couple years. Hope this helps!
