Additional Info When you offer the first bike to a kid, you can't mess up with a shitty yellow fluo bike with looseball bearing and a fat ugly saddle that you can't set low to help the kid to get on the rig. So Plan A was to remove BB and Headset first with fresh tires and pads. Then things went wrong, after dissasembly everything, Plan B came out, let's make a badass 14inches for the nephew, make it as it would be, classic raw and black, remove all shitty parts, and let's go to master the pumptrack on the sickest rig of the neighborhood. So after hours of work to remove the ugly paint on frame and fork, creating new decals, bring it to paint job, and then build it with some old but good parts like the youngstar parts from Reverse components, and some new like sealed bearing where I could put some, and a new saddles, brakes, tires, tubes, chain etc. This build is lighter, cooler, and more durable than the original one, yep Commencal should put some few extra cents into sealed bearings to offer long term use of the Ramones series for the kids.
