This build has been in the works for a while. Rob wanted to go all out building his dream bike. The pleasure of making it a reality was all ours.
This build has been in the works for a while. Rob wanted to go all out building his dream bike. The pleasure of making it a reality was all ours. After a session with our in house designer Fin the colour scheme was set and the designs drawn up. Fat Creations absolutely smashed it with the paint job. The sun wasn't playing ball for most of the photoshoot except for this one shot. Out of the light you could easily mistake this for just another black V10, but when the sunlight strikes it, it comes alive! Rob gave Ali a prime position to leave his mark after many many hours of work. Hope brakes have long been a favourite. A couple of subtle tweaks with the colours of the adjuster screws and some black braided hoses and fittings from Goodrige. When full bling is you aim there's only one bar you need to look for. And only one stem to pair it with. With a downhill fork from Ohlins still in development there was only one choice for the forks. The Fox 40 had the damper swapped out for a custom tuned Ohlins cartridge along with a few other top secret tweaks. Hope for the hubs and rotors to match the callipers. Black of course. The super high gloss finish is being kept in supreme condition by a full InvisiFRAME frame protection kit. The kits are custom designed to fit each frame model and size for maximum coverage and protection. This sight is becoming more and more familiar on both DH bikes and trial bikes. For good reason. This particular shock, like the damper in the fork has had the custom tune treatment from Plush Suspension. RaceFace carbon cranks, MRP carbon Chain guide and Burgtec providing the narrow wide direct mount chainring. 7 Speed cassette from Hope looks like no other. KMC for the chain, because gold. That's a new lightweight spring from Ohlins. Fitting a non yellow spring is just bad manners. The wizard from Plush. Mats knowledge is backed up by many years of racing experience. After a custom tune, every customer gets a personalised setup and ongoing support whenever needed. Rob taking it all in before the fist ride.
