This is the coolest reign I've ever seen. 650b reigns don't stand a chance beside....

    How did u get a Reign to have 171mm travel , is it a Reign X ?

  • Apostt

    11/14/2014 1:19 PM

By using a 2.25 stroke shock instead of 2.00. Only difference between Reign and Reign X.

sorry man but you are wrong. That's not the only difference. Everything is different on X (frame, chainstay, bb height... and so on) You just made your bike with more sag from the rear shock from 51 to 57mm.

the shock change converts the bike from 150mm to 168 mm, still a cool idea as long as you have the clearance in the frame

Awesome whip! Nothing beats the Reign for every type of riding, climbs like a tractor even in the snow and jumps like an eagle on crack. Maestro for president!

This is why I can't change my frame, upgrade every other single component!

How does the front feel on steep and long xc climbs with the 36 talas up front? I'm considering a lyrik or 36 for my 2013 reign

  • Apostt

    3/20/2014 10:34 AM

It is definitely harder to climb with this setup but it is definitely a lot better on every other occasions. I am sure you won't regret.

Needs a c guide , 36 fork , vivid air , to bring out it's true potential. That's how's mine is set up.

Sounds fine if you're into 15 inch BB heights...
