7/26/2025 11:59am That makes sense! No tubes in mine, but the paracord got me thinking! I’m going to look into that some more and maybe do the foam trick. Thanks for the input!

7/26/2025 11:57am My frame already has tubes for internal routing, but the hoses rattle inside anyway. The tubes are too narrow for foam liner so just a bit of extra padding provided by the paracord fixed the issue. I pulled the paracord through the tubes with the brake hoses already in - I was too lazy to cut the hose / use new olive / bleed.

7/26/2025 11:57am That’s a good idea! I might have to play around with this a bit more. If I remember right last time I pulled the fork the hole for the downtube was pretty small. Between that, some lube and pulling the BB I should be able to make it work.

7/26/2025 11:50am FWIW I solved the TITS noise of brake hoses by threading paracord through the frame, running it parallel with the brake hoses. The cord provides sufficient cushioning / damping to kill the noise. There isn't enough clearance in the frame for the foam tubing.

7/24/2025 9:32pm Hmm I might pick your brain more with this.. Did you make a knot on the opening on the top and run it tight to the bottom and tied it off? Or were you able to wrap the paracord around the brake line? Just having a hard time figuring out why the paracord is silencing it. I currently have it...

7/23/2025 5:17am Thanks for replying! I’ll mess around with it and get something up there. The problem is the 5mm Tektro/TRP brake line is too big to get the Jagwire stuff through the cable cut out on the top or bottom. The shifter cable works though. I might pull the bb and have a look.

7/22/2025 8:19pm Hey question for ya! Did you fish the pipe polyethylene pipe through the bottom bracket? Thinking about doing the same to my torrent. I’m also thinking of just shoving a sponge up there.

1/28/2025 6:20pm I’ve always been into weight training since I was 16, now I’m 39 and still hitting weights. I think it has helped a ton with riding. As far as what to work on specifically I wouldn’t worry about it. Start lifting with proper form, do compound lifts (squats, deadlift, presses, etc) and build from there. Make sure your lifting safely...
