Ohlins and Specialized came together to develop the TTX rear coil shock for the Demo 8 and Enduro EVO, bringing the Swedish suspension company into the MTB realm.

Mitch Ropelato has been running the shock for over a year now with successful results on both the Demo and the Enduro. Take a ride through the loam as he and Brad Benedict give you a little taste of the Ohllins TTX in action.

Interesting how they blanked out the RockShox decals on the Boxxer lowers. I realize Ohlins and RockShox are now rear shock competitors, but they aren't for forks... unless Ohlins is planning to enter that market. Or maybe I'm over-speculating and they just don't want to detract from the Ohlins product.

Ohlins are planning to make internals to fit Rockshox forks hence the blanking on Mitch's Boxxers.

See the article about Mitch's Enduro 29er from Cairns which was supposed to have Rochshox forks with Ohlins internals but they were not ready in time for the race.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing those. Forgot all about the Ohlins fork spy shot. That explain the Boxxer debranding. Thanks for the links.

What the hell are you on about? Specialized exposes the trail entrance and you blame the president? I hope that was a joke. By the way, Specialized has a history of using local secret trails in videos (Including one very near by that one.) and even building illegal trails in the area. One year, before internet vids and when Spec still ran press camps at UCSC, I'd guess maybe two miles of new illegal trail appeared in the flat part of upper campus.

the world needs a sarcasm font... It's not cool to show the entrances, like they also did last year as you mentioned. building things is good, but getting things over populated and closed is not good. what they showed here wasn't as bad as last year and at least no one is posting trail names. whew. at least we have that.. =)

It's very simple. Mr Hammack offended me with his Obama comment, and then I told him not to be so surprised as Specialized has a long history of exposing as well as building illegal trails. Get it? Or do you not have the English?

I dont know much about the Ohlins stuff, but I do like that TLD Sprint gear they are wearing.
