Alchemy Bicycles, a Colorado based frame manufacturer, had on display their new Arktos 150mm All-Mountain machine, which retails for $3,750 USD (frame and shock only). Handbuilt in the USA, the frame features Alchemy's Sine Suspension, which was designed by David Earle, one of the minds behind Yeti's Switch suspension platform.

Sine Suspension, named such because the leverage curve resembles the shape of a sine wave, is progressive during the first 85% of travel then transitions to a falling rate for the last 15%, This is done in an effort to utilize all of the bike's available travel, despite the progressive nature of an air shock.
