This is where it's at:

So rad. The hip at 0:34 is incredible.

Anyone ever tried one?

if 10 serious fat bikers who ride in the snow got together and put in $1k each, they could now have the ultimate trail packer.

looks so fun! pillows for days.

I've seen a few of those kits in the winter time. Notice how all the clips are downhill. Most of what I've noticed is that they're really hard to move around as well as a snowmobile. A 450 4 stroke has just over a quarter of the horsepower as a normal mountain sled, and nowhere near the surface area for floatation.

That clip is by far the best riding I've seen on one of those. That looks rad as hell and he's doing things that you couldn't do on a sled.

...........just getting to the top of that hill though...........

Kidwoo, you have more of a chance of getting me on one of those snow kits than you do a snowmobile. Looks rad. You make a line to the top for me with your sled.

Woo - you may be right for now. I do think there is a future here. Imagine something built from the ground up by Doo/Poo/Cat/Yammy for snow? 2 stroke 500 w/a turbo and a 140" 13" track...

do snowmobilers fight over standards and track size? like 13 vs 14" tracks and stuff?

Yup.

Most sleds are 15" these days with 16" being utilized by one of the companies.

As far as length - yeah, that's an even bigger arguement. 154-174 are all being utilized in the m tns.
