I'll never look as cool as 007 peeling off a pair of Ray Bans or Tom Cruise rockin' Aviators in Top Gun, but I can try.
This year I also acquired contact lenses, which is neat because I can actually see what I'm riding for the first time in my life. Can you see where this is going?

I need some dope shades, by which I mean, functional, comfortable, and I guess...stylish - which is hard to come by in this sport which is notorious for producing, shall we say, "that guy from out of town"-styled sunglasses.
Earlier in the year, I purchased some Smith Attack Max, they are comfy, provide good coverage, and generally make me look like an off-duty Green Barette, which is cool. However, the "rose" lens was...not what I was hoping, and then I lost them in the New England Autumn foliage - classic. Smith does not sell replacement ear-pieces or nose pieces (I still have the green mirrored lens which is actually siiiick), and I do not want to spend more money on something I already have.

So, TL;DR: who makes your favorite eyewear, with interchangeable lenses, preferably with a clear lens option?
Doesn't have to be bike-specific either, I'd rock some wicked construction/safety glasses if they don't fog up.

I'd suggest the julbo trek photochromic. I don't have contacts but I found out about these from a ski guide buddy that uses them because they're one of the models in julbo' line up that accepts a prescription. I just tried his on and liked the fit. 2 years on them now in both winter and summer. I don't wear goggles anymore. They're hydrophobic as well. I like them so much I just purchased the julbo "blast" with the same lense, so I have back ups in my pack. Not sure if the blasts have a flat enough lense for prescription though. Picked up both from backcountry

@grinch solid feedback. I won't get prescription lenses, but I'll have a look at those. Julbo was a suggestion earlier in the Autumn from a buddy, but your specific model suggestion is really helpful.

I have Oakley Jawbreakers now.

The ones that I have use great lenses and I was able to customize the jaw, icon carrier, icon ring, and sock kit, c/o the Oakley website. I haven't had problems with them fogging up either. I have also realized that the newer ones are a lot easier to clean. Comfort level is a lot better too.

The older Oakley Jawbreakers look better, though, particularly the TLD special edition ones. The lenses tend to have bubbles appear fairly quickly, unfortunately, particularly if you live in an area with hot summer temps.

TL.DR: The older jawbreakers looked better but the newer ones are more comfy and have better lenses.

I went this route over the summer. They worked just fine. Problem is, the bridge was unpadded, same with the ear hooks, so they moved around a bit...but for $5 they worked exactly as they needed to for like 3 months!

I have contacts and tried a bunch of brands before the 100% Speedcraft came out. They look ridiculous off the bike but I bought them for MTB for the full, almost goggle sized coverage. Air was always getting in under my Smiths and drying out my eyes, but the Speedcrafts eliminated that problem 100%...

I rarely wear them off the bike, and I only use the clear lenses on the bike. Hands down the best solution I have found, light, high quality clear lens, super comfortable, and huge amount of coverage.

Purchased! Big coverage and a strong selection of spare lenses was a strong selling point.

Nice! You will definitely be happy on the trail. Off trail it’s up to you to handle the ammount of raddness they bestow upon your look.

I willingly wear camo crocs, so I think these shades will compliment my exceptional style off the bike.
