Hey everyone,

As most of my riding now takes place at bike parks, my 2015 Nomad is out of its element in rough corners and braking bumps (which are pretty much everywhere). I want a 200mm, 650b bike but should mention that I am not an aspiring World Cup racer nor do I care about setting fast lap times. I just want the most playful, jump-friendly DH-style bike available. Durability is an important factor as well.

What do you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance!

Banshee Darkside is a purpose-built park bike, great price too. I'd also look at the Guerilla Gravity GG/DH, two suspension settings, with one that's setup for poppy park riding.

That Banshee looks awesome, though I can't seem to find a complete bike anywhere besides Jenson's 2015 stripper model. Do you know of a shop that sells a high end, complete version?

Banshee only sells frame only, so it's up to the shop you're working with to build it up for you. I own and operate a shop called the Downhill Zone in Issaquah, WA, and I'm a Banshee dealer (just ordered a Spitfire for myself). I could provide a custom build for you depending on your budget/wants/needs. You name it, I can deliver a stunning bike that exceeds expectations. I'd recommend having a shop with DH experience build a bike like this, but if you have a LBS that you like and trust, they can probably get setup as a dealer if they're willing to do the leg work.

I just grabbed a 2015 glory. Feels great so far, not riding super aggressive on it yet, but was amazed at how poppy and playful it felt for a 650b bike, thought i was gonna be on a limo but its not at all. Plus you can grab them super cheap which is why i went for it.
