do you find the exo casings being sufficient for downhill biking? I wanted the minion gumwalls but i have a history of short lived exo casings on a trail bike.

You know, I actually haven't had any issues with them. I rode these tires all weekend down at the old rampage site this past weekend and they held up well. They are set up tubeless and I didn't burp one time. Plus, its worth the risk for the gumwalls... they look sick haha and I got them for 45 a piece off of biketiresdirect.com

i guess i wouldnt expect the utah dirt to be what would flat them. in the front range (denver area) we have a decent number of sharp rocks that are just waiting to tear a hole in your casing haha. i went for the onza ibex in gumwall because it came in a heavier casing and i love them.
