I ran the numbers on about half those clips, and with how fast he hit those corners with that deep of mud, I can confirm that things just don't add up

Man...I really hate World Cup teams all wearing matching kit & having matching bikes.
Wanna root for Dak to go full send & spot him every run, every edit...easily with my eyes.
So damn frustrating to tune in all year and try to squint at a number plate, a pair of gloves...maybe the dude in white shoes if the angle is right.

In SX...when Barcia goes by in a hemmrhoid pink kit and a massive curly scripted font #51 on his back, I just know.
Edits these days are like watching 3 Darth Mauls all with the same color light sabre.

I remember when I started working for a gear brand in 2011, the UCI (spearheaded at that time by a UCI employee, Chris Ball) was really forcing this ‘no kit changes’ down everyone’s throat. I tried to rally up the gear brands to fight this nuisance rule but had a hard time getting people on board. His reasonings if I recall were funny, one of them I remember was “the media have a hard time knowing who’s who every weekend when they are changing kits all the time” so I asked Warner “mate, what?? I know who they all are” and I asked Sven if he was complaining, I recall Sven saying “I just need a heads up on who is in what kit, all good, I love the fresh kits-as long as they aren’t black”….so, thankfully those rules faded away-but seems like we are headed back no?

A bunch of brands do unique kits for teams (and sometimes individual riders) every World Cup round. Sure, a few teams stick everyone in the same kit round after round, but I think it's more a matter of some riders just looking similar to other riders. I've never once had trouble spotting Vali, or Greg, or Loic in a RAW. But Ronan and Pinkerton in the same kit and category is likely going to be confusing this year haha At least Ronan stays rocking the swag chain

I know from your time with the gear brands that sure, making one off kits that never sell to the general public (I never got my white pants wish) can be a pre-order, stocking nightmare.  
But it's tough as a race fan.  Spomer's crew can't edit in Name with a #plate going by in the RAW edits.  I actually like how Taylor Vernon runs a huge moto # on his kit.

Here's an idea from my daughter's travel softball.  They have player # on their rib cage in front & typical across the back. World Cup teams need to slap a rectangular patch that has the Rider's Initials in Periodic Table font on each bicep, rib cage on one side and shoulder. 
For each rider on the team have a designated background color they stay with all season.
Black Letters

Ryan Pinkerton flies by w/ a square on his sleeve/rib/back that's pink w/ black RP on it
Ronan Dunne comes by with a lime green background and RD
Dakotahhhhhhh Nortonnnnnnnn comes by with a baby blue backgroung & DN

Yeah its like theres no start order and the riders come down in a random order with no on-screen text. 🤷🏼‍♂️

This dude is an insane cornering master and also the finest mud rider ive seen since Johann Engstrom aka The Swede With Speed. Amazing Ronan.

I mean, I did watch the VITAL otter recap and the e13 dude did predict Charlie Sponsel to win WC1, so Ronan will have his work cut out.
