Interesting how the dropouts clamp onto the legs. Adjustable for wheel size?

I'd bet it was just a cost thing so they didn't have to invest in castings/ more assembly cost down there. Can't wait for someone to improperly torque those bolts and complain that the fork is trash cause they shifted.

Or perhaps to allow for some tweaking of head angle/ride height, like sliding the stanchions up or down the crowns on a dual-crown fork? Purely speculative--don't know how much actual range of adjustment there will be here, or even if they are really just clamped on.

That occurred to me too. And NorCalNomad now that the uppers are the one big expensive piece to replace, the lowers are modular and cheeper to fix.
