EWS and Santa Cruz

So any word on why the Santa Cruz riders used High Towers? Were they encouraged too by SC or did they really pick the Hightower over the Bronson and the Nomad?

Perhaps it's just a bad assed bike that they've been working on for years and a part of the long, low, slack niner thing going on. It might just work like that Evil seems too. Oh and that new YT, though it doesn't seem so slack.

At that level, those guys will surely pick the bike that they feel best suits the course or their riding styles. Risking race results isn't worth it for a photo or two, imo.

I'm wagering you see Kelly on it before Rude. Not because its not capable but because Rude is SO comfortable on the 6. Why change a winning formula?

That said if the course warrants it and he's feeling totally comfortable on it, yup, he'll be on it.

Yeah the Hightower only uses a 51mm stroke shock.
