And yes it has all to do with France and America and frankly your view of the world. I bet you don't have a clue about how different we get along with other cultures around and how things work. America is not the world stop trying to export your culture wars.

Well lets see Muc Off is a UK company. Do we believe that they chose to punish purely based on US "culture wars"? The use of that word or similar words is not an US issue but a world wide issue. There has been a number of issues in a number of European countries with racism so it is not just a US "culture war" unless you are going to say the US has that much influence over European football.
Unfortunately in some degree it has.
Not speaking as a whole but in some more high visibility events and leagues it does.
There are thousands of games going on and taking the knee, for example, has only marginally been adopted one some finals.
Well if we can adopt some of your brilliant ways of turning a game into a show, it's not difficult to imagine that some will turn that opportunity to gain some leverage by showing some virtue. Sponsors also like it.
Most of the best football players are world stars, they can't bee seeing skipping the train on these issues, even if they don't fully understand what's what.
it's a global world and the spill over is impossible to fully stop.
And yes there have been isolated cases of racism among "supporters", and they have been tackled swiftly. Some are eastern europe stuff, others is just the hateful and despicable behaviour that some have against any player (no matter if it happens to be your brother).
The irony is that specially in Europe most of them have been growing up side-by-side with dozens of different cultures and races, supporting and learning with each other, not without trouble, but not so as "us vs them" that has been a sad trend across the pond.

Maybe we should ask Algeria how they see France's relationship with other cultures? Or maybe Cameroon, or Tunisia etc etc... Hardly the multicultural paradise you are painting.
If you can't read criticism of a professional athlete using the n word without perceiving it as a wholesale attack on french culture maybe that might be a time for some introspection?
Nah, don't whatabout me. I just gave an example when it happens all the time and no wanna cares. And I've mentioned that in Europe, and I really can't talk about the french, because I'm not one, but they/we still have issues but it's their/our issues and problems. We're not trying to impose those on say, the americans, language, or anything - not they would know about it anyway. See the difference? And Europe its not a paradise, far from it, but we still get people wanting to be here and having a say.
Not MTB, but from the most popular Italian soccer team's official Twitter account:
Not quite viral yet but getting there. Jeep and Adidas are probably on a wait and see stance right now. Jeep is partly owned by a Chinese company, IIRC.
