Forum needs more activity.

Post your all time favorite piece of riding gear whether it's a good helmet, gloves that fit like a well- a glove, knee pads, whatever.

Discuss.

Gear? Um I suppose;

However, I'd consider this bike gear as well...and I fucking love these things.

Best $180 I have ever spent... of course I spent it AFTER a chest-to-stump crash that put me out for a month, but i digress.

That & my dakine windblock hoodie!

Hmmm....the list is not short, but here is the shortest possible version:

-FiveTen Impact Lows. I don't want to remember what it was like before these.
-Royal Race short 2009. Just such a perfect fit, great durability, POCKETS, and looks...
-Kyle Strait kneepads. I've was lured away to the 661 Evos (the dark side), but when they are done, I'll be back to the Straits for sure!

Almost went with the Royal shorts myself... been beating the snot out of them for 2.5 seasons now and they just won't die! Hope they don't lose that quality in the buy out deal.

Best knee pads made IMO. Cheap, comfy, stay in place, pretty durable.

Yeah Dickies are pretty much the riding short of choice in the southwest...they dont cost more than 20 bucks...sometimes I feel like people get so caught up on having a cool kit, they forget about having fun. Ill take my domelid, a tshirt and some dickies...
