That's a gorgeous build. Wink

How does it pedal? Does it feel more like an AM bike more than an FR bike when going uphill?

To answer your second question first: yes. Part of it has to do with the cassette, considering it has a 46t climb gear. As for how it pedals, in comparison to the bike I moved from (Commencal Meta AM V4) I did not expect it to feel as "easy" as the Meta... but I was surprised to find that it felt very close. Yes the SX is slightly heavier, but pedalling is just fine. Actually I noticed that for some reason the SX has less pedal bob than my Meta BEFORE using any of the shock/fork lockouts. So yeah, IMO it pedals like a slightly heavier Meta V4... but can handle so much more when it's time to descend =)

33+ pounds yikes, that's full DH weight class there
If it pedals decent, you notice the weight, but you are not going to chase guys on xc trail bikes on a +30k ride.. just get to the top..
I Have a banshee darkside, which is 180mm travel, sometimes I throw the single crown fork and pedal that pig to the top..not less than 35 lb with full DH tires..It can be configures to pedal relatively confortable although it is not on the same geo numbers as uzzi, delirium supreme sx to pedal..

True, and don't get me wrong - no way we can compare the climbing ability of these to true XC. I'm coming from a 29-lb trail bike to the Supreme SX which is about 31-lbs, and I do feel that extra 2-lbs... maybe I'm just old LOL

180 mm bikes typically used for park riding 90% of time and 10% for Backcountry;

In case you are planning hit big drops, hack to flat and ride park 33lb bike will be quite pedal able once in a while;

Otherwise 140-160mm will fit the bill;
