I can't disagree, but we should be excited that Snowbird is seeing the value in mountain biking, and get excited that this could lead to bigger things from them. The terrain that is available there could lead to incredible things, so let's speak up and encourage them to not give up and help them get better!

I'm very confused. The experts of the internetz have me to believe that this new design from Yeti simply will not work in mud, and then I see this video...

Very cool bike, except for the rubber bumper to protect the rear end from contacting the seat tube. That contact should be impossible on a properly designed frame when using the correct size shock for the bike. Claiming it is needed because some shocks may not have the bottom out control of the Fox is absurd...

I have had a few pairs of the new DSP grips and they are hands down my favorites. I have used 2 pair of the 30.3 diameter ones on different bikes and then replaced one pair with the 32.3mm ones. Cutting the grips off didn't bother me, but getting the old double sided tape off was a p.i.t.a. Also, the 32.3 ones easily feel as big as the Lizard Skin North Shore grips I used to use. Really can't imagine anyone needing ones any bigger in diameter than those...

Selling direct to the customer is great for keeping prices down, but the shops that will inevitably have to work on these bikes need to be selling them to stay afloat. Sweet looking bike, but their business model shits on the guys the customers will be relying on for the long term. Hopefully that "franchise model" they were talking about gives shops a cut.

Game changer? Complete bikes with no dealer network, that are available exclusively through mail order? Sounds more like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist...

Love the steel tubing in the front triangle. Strange they would reduce the shock's air volume with spacers in a high volume can. Why not just use a standard can?

For some reason, really glad a 26'" DH bike won it.

ST's are very strong, but I think some consider them to be a little too narrow @ 19mm internal width. My guess is it's a 21 or 23mm wide UST rim in 26, 27.5, and 29 but who knows ...

Well to me when Troy says that they were looking forward to next week, with a proper track, with good dirt, that's that backhanded way of complaining about the track at Fort William. I mean he's prob right, most accounts I saw seemed to suggest the track was a mess, but my point is everyone raced on the same track, don't use it as an excuse.
