Two of the zoceli models are threaded and the enduro and freeride frames both have press-fit.. I'd also prefer threaded but I just liked the frame too much for that to be an issue. I got the beer from a friend and had to keep it for a bit just for the photo 🙂

Why am I sharing this, and why might another rider want to read this? I'm a (modestly) credentialed, (modestly) working scientist with no present affiliation to the any part of the bike industry. Teaching quantitative reasoning and technical communication skills is the lion's share of what I do for work. I'm not a 'sci-comm' professional trying to drive attention toward a podcast about bikes or a bike youtuber trying to grab attention by deploying keywords like data or science. I don't have a vested interest in either bike setup being faster than the other. So let this be my attempt...

i've run most of the brakes tested (not the maven) and absolutely love the test. my personal winner is the dominion, which i'm still running. (a4, ditch t4) i agree on the verdict. needed some days to get used to the light lever feel. once you're used, this brake feels absolutely save on slippery conditions as the light lever feel and modulation goes hand in hand. mix this with the aboslute braking power it's easy to switch between brake force through the front or rear. for example entering a slippery corner with lots of roots. great learning curve for modulating...

How much do duration, # events, event duration, etc., vary between runs using the same brake and same trail segment and the same rider? All these data and impressions are shown as if the differences we see are due to the different brake, but some obvious alternate explanations include stuff like the test rider rides each lap a little different.
