Absolutely not - and that’s the weird part: despite the slack headtube angle the front wheel is pretty close and even on climbs weight distribution is fine.

Nope. More weight for an inline, 160mm shock to handle for chunky descents, hard to service systems and brake lines though the headset? Get bent Scott, how many people are actually asking for this shit?

Guess it comes down to your own body’s “geometry”.

My long legs dictate a high seat, thus the cockpit has to follow - geometrywise, most comparable bikes are pretty much the same regarding stack height (and i spent a fair amount of research on that), except some Santa Cruz models which are 20mm taller - Specialized S6 is great but is mostly about lenght and not height. A real exception would be the Raaw Madonna v2 but not available and a full build to taste would be double the TR’s price.

Interested in alternatives i haven’t stumbled upon yet though - but overall a fan of Commencal’s all aluminum, burly philosophy (looks at his Commencal stable…).

Ground principle for me (my body): saddle and grips (center) should be at least level, preferably grips 10-20mm higher. “RAD” doesn’t really work for me.

Stack is as high as possible and to countermeasure that i use a 60mm stem (50mm stock) with a 6° rise - the added lenght counters the shortening of the reach through the higher stack and the rise adds to the grips height combined with the bar’s rise of 60mm - main goal: feel “at home” without changing the bikes intended geometry’s design (too much).

Looks a bit weird overall but feels and handles fantastic.
