VWilliams Added a comment about video Matt Gilman - Blind Bike Trials

So sick! I have a brother who went blind from a brain tumor when he was younger. That didn't keep him from showing up all the local skaters on our halfpipe, or riding his bike around the neighborhood. So amazing what people can do with a bit of motivation and perseverance. Keep up the good work!

When I had my old Ford Ranger, I could bunny hop into the back, after a good trials ride, with the tail gate still up. Those were the days. . .

Unreal for sure. I would kill to be able to ride like that. Really like the song as well. I wonder how the popularity of the band was affected? Had never heard of them before, but made an itunes purchase after about the 30th time watching this vid.

I've done plenty of "rattle can" jobs. They can look decent I think if you get some good paint. Not so good in the durability department though. Although I've seen some professional jobs that aren't too hot either. Powdercoat if you are looking for durability for sure. Make sure to prep the frame good though, or you could be looking...
Ryan, I sure like you. I hope I haven't offended you in any way. I'm usually up for a healthy debate but just to lazy to post. For some reason this one I decided to get involved in. Like I said before, I totally agree with you. My opinion is obviously skewed as my job relies on selling online. I...
Ryan, you make some very valid points, and I totally agree with you from a customers standpoint. I don't blame consumers one bit for searching out the best deal. From a shop standpoint it's tough when we are stocking thousands of dollars in product from a certain manufacturer, and then they undercut us and sell direct through a "sponsorship" deal...
This is a touchy subject and always will be. I feel like I have a pretty good grasp of two of the three sides of this, as I work at a shop, and have been part of grassroots sponsorship programs in the past. I am lacking actually working for a company handing out the sponsorships. With that said, here are...

VWilliams Added a reply to Indoor Racing

The Utah indoor BMX races get a really good turnout. Usually 30+ motos for all 3 days during the weekend they are run. We had over 40 last Sunday, with a really good draw for the Pro-Am race which has a cash payout and runs the random UCI gate. Good luck with this!
