I've got a different pair of fashion shoes for hanging out at the bath house and the salon, so the protruding cleat shouldn't matter too much. Thanks for the info.

I got a pair of these and honestly, I'm bummed. The cleat isn't as flush as I'd like for casual wear. Better for clipping in I guess, but my old 661 Filters were recessed more and easy to walk around in. On to the FiveTen's I guess...

If you want a stiff shank, this is your shoe. SUPER STIFF!
