You use the exact same mounting hardware on the 2017 Slash with either a Superdelux or Fox X2 shock. 230x60 if you want abit more travel or 230x57.5

hi, bike looks awesome. I've just bought myself a bomber cr coil shock for my 21.5 slash, but I am getting different stories on the mounts I need. what did you use? I notice the remedy shock is different to the slash so I am wondering if I could just use the mounts from that to get the coil on. thank you

Love the Slash. How did you set up the b-rad system on underneath of the top tube? Looks mega clean. I have a 9.8 and I see the braise ons up there, but I don't want to run the big long Wolftooth b-rad mounting bases. How did you attach it to your bike without the mounting base? Can you tell me what specific b-rad items you bought to make it work and look so clean? Thanks!

Hi - I read that the OneUp EDC tool may not be entirely compatible with the 2016+ Lyrik. Did you have any issues?

Many EWS racers are running them on their Lyrics too so not sure why there would be a problem

Thanks. Yeah, I had noticed that but the OneUp website had me confused. Do you also have a Co2 stored in the steerer, under the tool? Thanks for confirming.

Yup, 230x60, size 17.5. The piggy touches the shift cable slightly at bottom out but it's not going to contact the frame. Been bottoming out 10x a month for the last 12 months and still on the original shifter cable so I think it should be ok. With the 400lb coil, its at 33% sag at my weight (155lbs geared up). With a 450lb coil, I am at 28-29% sag. Both springs work, just depends on how much sag you want to run. When running 400lb, I add more HSC to prevent bottom out. With 450lbs, I can remove most of the HSC since it's harder to hit bottom.

Another Slash owner here. I installed a 230x60 DB Coil CS on my large (19.5”) Slash and the piggyback contacted the down tube, and would definitely punch a hole in the frame during riding. Talked with NSDynamics and they confirmed the same issue with another 19.5” Slash, which they solved by limiting the stroke (significantly) with spacers.

Swapped it for a 230x60 CDDB In-line Coil CS and it’s been working perfectly for over a year. Best upgrade I’ve ever done to a bike. 80kg with gear and running a 550lbs VALT spring.

It lightly touches the shifter cable at full bottom out (with no spring installed). It would have to pierce through the shifter cable (another 8-10mm) before it would contact the frame. This would only be possible if you removed the bottom out bumper. Doing so would allow the shock to reach full stroke (60mm). With the 10mm bottom out bumper in place, a very hard bottom out would compress it 5mm or so so you are effectively only using 55mm of stroke. I have had probably over 150 bottom out occasions over the last 11 months and it will not go through the shifter cable. Shifter cable has 1700mi on it as I have not replaced it yet and it's shifting flawlessly. On the Trek Slash forum, many guys are running this configuration with no issues. There could be an issue on a 15.5" frame but I haven't heard or read any reports of issues with a 17.5" or larger so fingers crossed!!!

Hi! Is that a 230x60 shock you are running there? May I also ask what size frame are you running it on and how much do you weigh for the 400lbs spring? I have my Slash coming and planning to have a back up shock in case the stock fails. Would be nice to have a coil. Currently I'm super happy with the IL coil on my Bronson.
