hi, width rim definitely make the tire going wide. i use 2.35 but look like 2.50 with nomal rim. and the titanium spokes is fine, 100gr lighter than dtswisscomp, no issue. almost 2 years use it ( no big rockgarden in my local trail ). so the wheelset weighed just only 1700gr .
