The video of Danny Hart's 2011 World's run has around 3 million views on youtube. The vast majority of those 3 million people didn't watch that run because they're die hard fans or because they had any specific appreciation for the riding, they watched it because the commentary was fantastic, hilarious, and could be appreciated by both legitimate fans and casual observers. You don't see any of the more recent races with relatively bland commentary getting anywhere near as much appreciation.

Yeah - I get that it's tricky. But especially since this event ended up happening on a weekday, it'd be cool if the results weren't immediately obvious until sometime later in the evening; i.e. when those of us with "normal" jobs have had time to get home and watch the replay.

Does Pinkbike count? They don't generally post spoilers in the results title. And yeah - during the Olympics, if results were going to be discussed, there would usually be a spoiler alert so people could look away / change the channel. Do you really think people won't click into the results link if you don't post the winner in the title? Edit to add: coverage this week has been fantastic - you guys have been killing it. I picked up a Canfield Bros. Yelli Screamy recently and wrote up an initial review on Blister: Canfield 29er Review Awesome bike, and definitely worth a look if you're in the market for a 29er, or any kind of trail-oriented hardtail, for that matter.

Isn't Vital supposed to be the grown up site that focuses on worthwhile content instead of encouraging tweens to argue over stupid shit in a feigned effort to keep the front page "fresh" during the slow months? um, er, what I meant to say was: gloves. definitely gloves.
