The way the rear end compresses, the piggyback is actually brought up away from the down tube. I had it positioned on the top at first but it made very light contact with the top tube on full bottom which I didn't want to risk. This was the best position for this particular shock.

looks your piggyback so close with your down tube, wasn't it hit down tube while bottom out?
