Spomer here are some suggestions for ya: Ali Di Lullo: Because he's a bad ass photographer and an interesting person. Ben Cathro: Because he's a former racer and is really adding the world cup season with his track analysis vids The guys from Anthill Films, specifically Darcy, Darren and Sterling

"Seth and Phil. Every other YouTuber is just trying to be them and boring us to death in the process." Spomer you have to be trolling on that one. Those "Randy's" from Trailpeak kill it, so does Eric from BCPOV, lenosky's Trail Boss is rad and Ryan from the LoamRanger is also a fun watch. If you were serious then don't be such a grumpy youtube snobby pants! haha! Funny list nonetheless.

There is the spring rate issue but I guess I got lucky on the first try. Boom, 30% saggy McSaggerton. My whole point was to share my experience with coil and air on that frame. I am a bigger dude though so that may play in as a factor with air shocks. Then again I haven't tried the Float X2...

Why wouldn't the DHX2 be in the running since the Ohlins is a coil as well? I have the same frame as you and love the DHX2 on it compared to the Monarch Plus RC3 that I had previously. I would bet the Float X2 would run pretty damn close to the DHX2 after watching Johan's video above.

That sounds about right. I'm completely happy with DHX2 except I need to add the climb which isn't cheap! I also noticed gwin was using both but from what I remember it seemed that I saw the FX2 more than the DHX2. Definitely cool times to be a rider. This bike nerd shit is rad. LOL

That makes perfect sense. Thanks for the explanation Jeff. Much appreciated. Now I'm curious how a Float X2 would feel dammit. haha

On my 2016 Giant Reign I recently went from from a Monarch Plus RC3 to a Fox DHX2 coil and man it is night day different. I weigh 200ish geared up and even with 5 volume reducer bands I just couldn't get the Monarch Plus to feel right. The DHX2, once tuned really makes that bike a lot more lively...

I love that trail. The Leaping Lizard was my first DH race back in the late nineties.

Looks like a fun trail and a cool edit but that damn dust or scratch on the lens of the drone was really distracting. Maybe it was just the drones's own shadow though? Not trying to be a troll regardless.

Hmm. That's a good question. My hometown riding zone is Laguna Beach. We have 3 obvious legends that live here; Lopes, Hans and Schley. I don't know know Lopes or Hans but Schley is a good dude and freakin hilarious at times so he's up there. My vote for Laguna would have to be a rider some may know locally...

sspomer I "was" that friend of the sizzler known on here as mshuster. I could've sworn I read something about Sven not covering the world cups and only doing the EWS this year. It wasn't presented as a fact regardless. Looking forward to the slideshows and glad to hear it! Bring on this epic race season!
