They definitely made it a point to sign a TON of well known riders a couple years ago to establish the brand more and give it a cool image. What you're saying is probably all it is. That being said, I do understand it's all business but part of me also feels that it isn't going to make them look very good to other riders because it could be seen as them seeming to "use" who they sponsor and then chuck them. Till will tell, but if you try to say anything of that sort on the other site people...

I don’t know. Maybe they just realized they don’t need those big names anymore to sell bikes. It seems they’ve placed the brand where they wanted it to be. After all their bikes are constantly sold out anyways. So what’s the point in more promotion when you can’t fulfill more orders. I hope they’ll put much of that saved money...

Nah, I bet she’s moving to another frame sponsor. Probably one of the bigger factory teams since she is really high profile already. As much as I like YT, they are a small company and it seems they have moved their focus away from operating a top money rider roster.

A little disappointed they didn‘t get a 3rd elite ride. For some reason I really dig the YT brand and the Tues. Would have loved to see another rider on it. Trummer is an amazing addition though! Loved watching him constantly deliver in 2019.

As far as I know Vali is riding for SRAM/ROCKSHOX racing on a YT frame, not for the YT mob. Edit: But you are certainly right. Even on a different team she's still promoting YT.

That‘s interesting. Are there any top riders left without a team by now? I like Angel, he‘s a great rider and seems like a nice guy. But he‘s certainly not selling bikes.. For a company that is very much focused on promotion (see that Jeffsy video) I’d expect at least one top scorer on their DH roster.
