having only briefly spent time on a 24-inch bike (superco), seems like pros would be smaller, more bmx-like feel. cons would probably be access to parts like wheels/tires, as you may have to always do mail order or wait for stock on the parts you might want. what do you plan on riding most with the DMR? does the DMR...

the terrain is very dry and full of sharp rocks. some loose, some not loose. be advised that tires can get worn out or sliced up pretty easily out there. as for models, i'll let more experienced locals give you their recommendations, but i can't imagine you'd go wrong with minion F's out there.

glad there is an event and having it east coast is cool, IMO. with the quality of riders in that neck of the woods, the mountain should be able to put on a good show. the odd thing about the date is worlds selection. based on last year's usa worlds team, national champs seems like it played a pretty big role in who went. for 2011, that doesn't seem to be the case. the industry is burned out after interbike and the venue is 2077 miles from las vegas according to mapquest. it will be interesting to see what the...

I've ridden both the codes and the formulas and they both work well and feel good in the modulation department. any brake in your lineup should have plenty of power. i like the lever feel of avids, but that's a personal preference and something you'd have to decide. have you used/felt the brakes you're looking at? one other thing to...
